FAQ
You have questions. I have answers.

-
How do I book with you? The best way is to email my shop at info@eveningstartattoo.com ! You will receive a form from my shop manager, fill it out, and then she will get back to you and get you scheduled!
-
What is your specialization? Stained Glass Tattoos! But I do tattoo in all styles and will still tattoo you!
-
Can I get my deposit back? It is non-refundable. But I keep it on file for a year before it is forfeited as long as you hit me up before the 72 hour deadline for rescheduling
-
What is your cancellation/rescheduling/deposit policy? I require a $300 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. It will be taken off the end of your appointment as long as you show up and get tattooed. I accept zelle at eveningstartattoo@gmail.com or cash/card at the shop. Cards at the shop will have tax added (it's automatic and nothing I can change). I will hold your spot for 24hrs without deposit before it is then up for grabs again. If you need to reschedule your appointment, I require at least 72 hours notice and will keep your deposit on file for 1 year. After 72 hours, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to make a new deposit to schedule your next session. All cancellations will forfeit your deposit. No call/No shows will result in your deposit being forfeited. Failure to fulfill your appointment (e.g. You are forced to leave before getting your tattoo, you change your mind and walk out, etc…) will result in your deposit being forfeited. Under no circumstance will your deposit be refunded.
-
Does that include if the artist needs to reschedule due to an unforeseen emergency? Yes, we are human. The deposit is to protect me from doing hours of work and for you to not show up. But, I will never cancel on you. I might need to reschedule due to an act of god, but I wont cancel.
-
Do you tattoo melanated skin tones? Yes :) In color or black and gray, whichever you prefer :)
-
Will you come guest in my city? Yes IF I can get a minimum of 3 full days tattooing there
-
How much will my tattoo cost? It depends. Please check out my price break downs here.
-
I want this tattoo that you said cost XX amount of money, but I only have X amount of money. What do I do? There are a few things we can do! A- We break the design up into as many smaller financially manageable tattoo sessions that we can. I have many clients who can only afford 1 or 2 hours at a time! B- You get a less detailed/smaller version of your tattoo within your price range. C- You save up to get the crazy detailed one all at once . There is no wrong way to do this, the goal is to get what you envision, its okay if it takes time.
-
Will you tattoo my asshole? Yes. I have a flat rate of $5k to tattoo buttholes. No this is not a joke- I will do it. for $5k.
-
Do we have to talk during my session? No! I prefer to wear headphones and listen to my book so I can focus. But I am 100% down to chat whenever you want. I am here for you and what you need
-
I am scared, is that ok? Yes, getting a tattoo can be scary and painful and vulnerable. We can talk about it and go at your pace.
-
Can I see my design ahead of my appointment? No :) I do not share designs before your appointment, but there is time at the beginning of every appointment to make any adjustments. I will NEVER put anything on you that you do not like. I will have to look at this tattoo maybe 1-2x in my life; you have to look at it forever
-
Can we move it? Yes, absolutely
-
How old do you need to be to get a tattoo? You must be 18 years old and have a picture ID with your birthday on it.
-
Should I do anything before my appointment? Leading up to your appointment, please moisturize your skin for a few days prior. On the day, make sure you are clean, but refrain from wearing perfume or cologne or from shaving the area as it may cause irritation and interfere with the tattoo process. IMPORTANT: Please make sure to hydrate for at least 24 hours leading up to your appointment. You hydrate for tomorrow, not today! And eat about an hour before your appointment. Please avoid alcohol at least 24 hours before your appointment.
-
What should I wear? Wear comfortable loose clothes that allow me access to the area being tattooed, preferably in black or in a solid neutral color (for photography purposes).
-
What should I bring? Headphones, chargers, something to watch/listen to, snacks, water, comfy socks, and expert clients bring an airplane neck pillow.
-
I am getting my feet tattooed, anything I should know? Bring an extra pair of clean socks and wear crocs or sandals
